Counsellor offering:
Counselling
Veronica Bartholomew is a
member of the British
Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).

Veronica's work experience spans
34 years of nursing in many varied settings within the NHS. Over
the last 15 years Veronica has combined nursing with the
role of G.P. practice counsellor, and counselling to people who
refer themselves in a large city.
"I enjoy being able to facilitate
the client's own innate ability to 'move on' to feeling more
comfortable about life situations
which are causing distress and concern. 'Person centred' counselling
encompasses a holistic way of approaching painful problems, and
I have always found this kind of simple therapy to be positive
and successful. Areas such as bereavement, loss of any sort in
life, stress and anxiety, and anger management are particular
situations that I find respond well to the Person centred counselling
approach."
Counselling will be 'short term'
with a 'review' or longer as needed, according to each client's
specific needs.
