Birgit Modro

Birgit is a member of the Complimentary Therapy Association and offers treatments in Energy Therapy, Jikiden Reiki, and Sports Massage.

Birgit was educated with a commercial background in Germany and worked for a multinational company before moving to the UK in 1989 where she continued her career until starting a family in 1997.

She decided to follow her interest in holistic therapies and qualified as a Reiki Practitioner in 2002 followed by studying Holistic Massage in 2005 (ITEC) and Sports Massage Therapy in 2006 at Abingdon College qualifying with a level 3 Diploma in Sports Massage Therapy (VCTC).

In 2010 she trained as an Energy Therapist in Germany. This therapy is based on assessing the bio energy of the body and using methods established over 30 years by one of Europe’s most successful healers, Horst Krohne.
